Let’s Be Honest
You’ve sold plenty of things in your career. Maybe some of it felt good. Maybe some of it didn’t. Either way, you
know how to build trust fast, read a room, and close — for real, not with a script.
At Legal NorCal, you’ll still be selling. You’ll still be closing. But the thing you’re selling actually matters: peace of
mind for families protecting what they’ve built, and clarity for business owners navigating decisions that shape
their future.
This isn’t about pushing a product. It’s about guiding people through some of the most important — and most
avoided — decisions of their lives, and getting paid well for doing it right.
About This Role
The Client Engagement Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for sales, lead follow-up, and client
experience for our estate planning, business law, and trust administration practice. This role does require an
understanding of estate planning work product — you don’t need to have sold it before, but you do need to
know what a trust, a pour-over will, and a funded estate plan actually are. A track record of handling big price
points and sensitive conversations with maturity matters just as much.
We’ll train you on the sales side. What we can’t train is the trust and estates knowledge you’ll already bring — or
the ability to genuinely care about people who are thinking about mortality, family, and legacy — and to help
them move from “we should really get this done” to “let’s do this.”
Firm: Legal NorCal P.C.
Location: Onsite, Chico California.
Compensation: $100 K + (Base Compensation + Incentives)
What You’ll Be Doing

- Following up with prospective clients who haven’t yet retained us, without being pushy or forgettable.
- Overseeing a smooth handoff of new clients to the legal team
- Maintaining a tracking system for leads, new clients, and referral sources
- Talking with real people about mortality, money, and family — with tact, warmth, and zero awkwardness
Who You Are

- You’re organized enough to manage a pipeline without someone checking in on you.
- You’re tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and processes.
- You treat a Friday-afternoon call with the same care as a Monday-morning one.

- Real training — we teach you the sales process and how we run client engagement, start to finish.
- A firm that trusts adults to manage themselves and hits the brakes on micromanagement.

Do Not Apply If…
- You think sales is a high-pressure, “talk them into it” game.
- You’d rather work alone than as part of a team — we’re big believers in the team.
